For projects 1-6, the PhD candidates should have a degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent. For projects 1-5, previous experience in microscopy techniques, physiological measurements and spectroscopic tools is an advantage. For project 6, previous experience in omics methodologies, bioinformatics or systems biology is an advantage. For project 7, the PhD candidates should have a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, and be strongly motivated for research on enzymes, lignocellulose chemistry, and biotechnology for the production of fuels and chemicals from renewable resources. |
